Excluding values for a few products

You may need to exlude one or more shopping cart module specific values for one or more product references of your e-commerce website. For example imagine you sell clothes from the small "S" size to the extra large "XL" size, but for one of the clothes you sell you have only the small "S", medium "M" and large "L" sizes. In such a situation you must give the choice between "S", "M" and "L" sizes only for the product, and exclude every other sizes.

For that click on the "Modify" button of the reference you want to alter by removing non-used shopping cart module values:

Go at the bottom of the reference modification form that appears. For every shopping cart module that has been attached to the reference the list of values is displayed here. Select the values you want to be available for the shopping cart module attached to this reference, for the present example select only "S", "M" and "L" values for the "Clothes sizes selection" module (keep the "Ctrl" key pressed to select several values), then click on the "Save modifications" button:

Once you are back on the product dedicated page you can see that only "S", "M" and "L" values are available for the reference you have altered:
